E-appointment system: A Convenient Way to Book Appointments

E-appointment system is an Android application developed by National Informatics Centre that aims to provide citizens with a hassle-free way of booking appointments. The app was created in response to the need for an online appointment system during the Covid-19 pandemic. With E-appointment system, users can book their appointments before visiting the Saral Kender Panchkula, which serves as the pilot project for this application.

To get started, users simply select the location/office for which they want to book an appointment, followed by the service name offered by that particular location/office. After that, users can select the date and time of available slots that suit their schedule. Personal details, including a mobile number, are required to complete the booking process. An OTP is sent to the entered mobile number for verification purposes. Once the OTP is verified, the user will receive a confirmation message on the screen, displaying the date and time of the booked appointment. Additionally, the user will receive an SMS regarding the appointment confirmation. The app also allows for easy appointment cancellation, and users can view the list of appointments they have taken.
